JPIC - IDC and KKS Lanao Promotion of Chidlrenâ

The KKS Lanao Project was formally launched on September 16, 2010 in partnership with the Department of Education, Division of Lanao del Norte. The launching was officially attended by the Schools Division Superintendent, two assistant Superintendents, the Division peace coordinator, the school administrators of the 10 beneficiary schools, approximately twenty (20) teachers, and the five (5) project team staff.

The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between JPIC-IDC and the partner, Department of Education, Division of Lanao del Norte was then signed by the end of September 2010 in Cebu City. Dr. Maria Luisa B. Mutia represented the Department of Education being the Schools Division Superintendent of Lanao del Norte and Fr. Eugene Docoy, SVD, represented JPIC-IDC being the Executive Director.

From then on, the project team of Lanao started to leg work to establish rapport with the beneficiary schools of the project especially with the school administrators and teachers, and also conducted Consultative meeting with other stakeholders of the said project.
